Just to give you an idea on how much stipend HERO Foundation provides to each of its grantee, here are the figures (courtesy HERO Foundation):

We all know that many of our soldiers don’t really earn as much as they deserve, and sadly there’s really not much support their children can receive in case the worst succumb.  Education is a right, but for orphaned children of our unsung heroes it becomes only as a privilege that many may not be able to avail!  I strongly believe that education is the key to our country’s future that’s why I’m asking everyone to help spread the word and join this race for a very good cause.  HERO Foundation support these children’s education through college, and through Yamaha’s Run for Heroes, we can directly be a part of being a hero for our heroes.

Angelo (Runrio), Coach Rio, Mr. Takeshi Yano (Yamaha), and Ms. Michelle Chan (HERO Foundation) with a New Balance singlet to be used for the event
