One of my most awaited races for the year, Adobo Run After Dark didn’t disappoint as far as being one of the most fun events of the year! It was a real fun run, and here’s how it was from my perspective:

By the way, something is coming up from the event’s beneficiary, Isang Litrong Liwanag. For now, here’s a cool video that I hope will inspire everyone to be part of spreading light throughout the country:
The United Nations (UN) has estimated that today, October 31, 2011, the world’s population has reached seven billion people. That’s 7,000,000,000! Of course, this figure has some margins of error as nobody can really tell the exact population of each country in the world. For your reference, the Philippines is estimated to have a population of 94,013,200 (2010), the 12th largest in the world, with the city of Manila being the most densely populated city in the world with 43,079 inhabitants per square kilometer (District 6 being the most dense with 68,266 inhabitants per square kilometer).
There’s quite a lot of us in the world. I hope we all do our best to save our resources for our children and their children.
Halloween is almost here, one of the “newest” and most enjoyable western tradition assimilated with our own. For kids, it’s much ado about the “trick-or-treat”-ing, but for the kids at heart, it’s about the costumes and parties! It’s fun just thinking about it, but I have a problem–I don’t have a costume yet!

Congratulations everyone! 😀
The first ever adidas King of the Road (KOTR) Southeast Asia Championship had just concluded in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and I’d say it’s the most “international” race I’ve experienced in the Philippines so far. Here’s my recap on this outstanding race:
Completed adidas King of the Road? Congratulations! Looking for the race results? Well, it’s going to be available soon! So why does this post exist in the first place? This is my attempt at educating some runners as well as protest about some bad practices I’m seeing online.
