After two long years, finally, I was able to step back into the shores of one of the best beaches in the world, Boracay. It may seem like an ordinary quick getaway, but adventures seem to follow wherever I go.

One of the most anticipated races in the region, adidas King of the Road, is back and the Philippine leg now opens its doors for registration. Here are the event particulars.
Happy rainy day runners! I had just received word from Without Limits, the race organizer of Kellogg’s Run For A Healthy Filipina, that “due to continuous persistent rain” the event will be postponed and rescheduled to a later date (to be announced). On the other hand registration will be extended until supplies lasts.

The Run for the Pasig River is back on its third year, and this time it is dubbed “The Quezon City Experience.” The race for the first time will start in Quezon Memorial Circle and aims to cleanup the waterways in the city that lead to the Pasig River.
Updated September 20, 2012: In lieu of its forthcoming 800th store in the Philippines, 7-Eleven will be having a race to celebrate this milestone. Dubbed as 7-Eleven Run 800, this would be the first race ever to be held on CAVITEX (also known as Coastal Road). Here are the event particulars.
