It’s still more than a week before Halloween but the earliest party of the season, adobo Run 3, had already concluded last Saturday night at the grounds of SM Mall of Asia.
It was another sleepless race—that’s one of the downsides of having an out of town race. But it doesn’t matter—what matters is that after two years, I’ll be back onto one of my favorite trail routes of all time: the lahar fields of Mt. Pinatubo!

The recently concluded adidas King of the Road 2012 is probably the most “international” race in the Philippines so far this year with runners coming from all over the world, one of the most colorful, and has one of the best finisher’s medals. Here’s the story of my first 16.8K race.
