Support Nepal

I think by this time everyone who is on the internet already knew about that devastating earthquake that hit Nepal.  While we may be thousands of away from the scene, we can do a lot more than sharing the stories and pictures—we can actually extend our help without leaving our seats.  One of the easiest and fastest ways is via the Donate button being shown by Facebook.

Simply click this button and if you have a PayPal account, you may just click any of the predefined amounts (or specify the amount you want to donate) on the popup window, and click the Donate Now button to make the donation.  I haven’t tried the other options but it should work similarly.

If you have your PayPal account linked with Facebook it should show here

The good thing about using this method is that Facebook will be matching our donations (up to $2 million) so that should extend our donations.  As a citizen of a country that is susceptible to natural calamities like typhoons and earthquakes and is usually on the receiving end of donations, it’s our time to give back.  For those who can, please do.

If you don’t see the Donate notice, you may go directly to facebook.com/nepalearthquakesupport for your donations.
