Philippine Holidays for 2016

The official holidays for 2016 have been announced, declared by virtue of Proclamation No. 1105, s. 2015 and it looks like we do not have as many long weekends for this year as compared with 2015:

  • January 01-03 (3 days, Friday-Sunday; 5 days, Wednesday-Sunday if including December 30-31, 2015)
  • February 06-08 (3 days, Saturday-Monday)
  • March 24-27 (4 days, Thursday-Sunday)
  • August 27-29 (3 days, Saturday-Monday)
  • October 29-November 01 (4 days, Saturday-Tuesday)
  • December 30-January 01 (3 days, Friday-Sunday)

If you took the Friday off, February 25-28 would be a four-day weekend!
