Planning of opening 2016 with a run abroad? Well, there’s one just across the country, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event will be on January 24, 2016 and features a half marathon for its longest leg. Here are the event particulars:

HCMC Run 2016 – Conquer the Bridge
HCMC Run – Conquer the Bridge 2016 will be held on 24 January at Phu My Hung. We assure innovation in this year will bring interesting activities for runners as well as friends, families and spectators.
HCMC Run was held successfully over the last two years, the race has become the pride of Ho Chi Minh citizens as well as a sportive activity for residents which attracts a large number of international athletes come from different countries in region.
The event has been receiving more and more communities’ supports for creating a healthy playground for everyone. Besides 21km and 10km distances for professional and amateur runners, 5km is considered as a suitable distance for everyone or beginners can join to challenge their endurance. HCMC Run attracts a huge amount of people ranging from children, family and office workers; especially the race is suitable for team-building activity to enhance team spirit among members in the company.
This year, HCMC Run will be held on 24/01/2016 at Phu My Hung. This race is seen as a start of an exciting year with full of energy. With innovation, HCMC Run 2016 will have many festive activities before the race to create vibrant atmosphere greeted all runners with outstanding activities such as: Athletes’ village (23 Jan – 24 Jan), Kid’s Dash (23 Jan), etc.
The number of people interested in running in Ho Chi Minh City has changed for two years since the first year this race was held. HCMC Run and other running events are being organized by Pulse Active has built up and expanded the healthy community. Typical for this change is the number of participants in sporting events has increased through the years. Many people, especially the youth who participated in running events are more aware of the importance of healthy lifestyle. More and more running groups and clubs open around the city.
As the race organizer, Pulse Active wants to uphold the spirit of HCMC Run, build up a healthy community and bring more spiritual activities for Ho Chi Minh people, also attract more tourists, international athletes to Vietnam every year.
