Hello Kitty Run Manila 2017 is perhaps the largest fun run I’ve seen for the year with more than 10,000 participants. It’s also one of the more interesting ones as participants don their costumes and showing their love for Hello Kitty. Here’s my story from the first Hello Kitty run in the Philippines.
I’m back once again for another pacer duty, this time with the 21K leg of Takbo.ph Run Fest 2017. Here’s my recap of one of the most festive running events of the year.
The race results for the AmCham ScholaRun 2016 is now available via MyRunTime. Also while you’re at it, the links to the event photos are also there. Congratulations to all finishers! 😀

It took some time but finally, I was able to do my first half marathon for the year with the National Geographic (NatGeo) Run 2015. And it was anything but the typical half marathon race, at least for a Runrio one. Here’s my story.

Rexona Run is one of the races that I always look forward to every year and as far as I can remember, I’ve never missed one since it started. I can’t describe how I felt when I thought I may not be able to complete one this year.
It was another sleepless race. A half marathon starting at 3AM. That’s got to be the earliest 21K I joined that I can remember. You’d have to sleep before sundown if you were to get a good sleep before the race.
It is one of the most popular destination sites in the Philippines, included in the list of “Destinations to watch in 2013” by Condé Nast Traveller, and considered eighth in the “World’s 50 best surf spots” by CNN Travel. It’s Siargao! Now it’s opening up its roads for runners with the Siargao It Up Half Marathon.
One of the most anticipated races of the year is adidas King of the Road (KOTR) and having one of the most expensive race fees in the country, expectations were really high. Did adidas KOTR Philippines 2013 deliver?
Before I noticed it, Run United 2 came, and while I survived, I can’t say I was quite prepared. Not only was it my longest race thus far, it was also one of my slowest race ever. Here’s my Run United 2 story.
Here’s something that could add to your motivation in joining this year’s adidas King of the Road—presenting KOTR 2013 event singlet and finisher’s medal:
