Races come and go but there are a few that’s more fun than the rest, and Run BGC does belong with those “fun” ones—for the 5K leg at least. But it doesn’t mean that it didn’t come with some hiccups! Here’s my Run BGC story.

Another “Perfect” Race: Run United 2
After what seemed like an eternity, I’m finally back to into running. It had been more than three months since my last race, and I’m glad that Run United 2 was here to kickstart me back into sense. Here are my accounts of what I thought to be the best Run United leg so far.
Troika
Since my GF405 and I are no longer in good standing, it’s time for me to explore other options. And I didn’t just found one—I found three at my disposal!
Breaking up with my GF
Tragic. So this is how it all ends. My GF and I are through. :’-( It had been a wonderful three years and four months with you. How I am going to recover from this is yet known, but I will surely miss our times spent together. 😦
The Chronicles of SAR: Galaxy Entertainment Maratona Internacional de Macau (Day 02)
December 04, 2011, the day of my second marathon outside the Philippines and my first road race below 15°c. I could’ve come more prepared but things don’t always happen according to plan so the goal was simple: to have fun and finish within cutoff!
The Piaya Chronicles: The Unexpected Extension
The ruins was supposed to be the last agenda on our itinerary and because of our unfortunate delays going to the site, we had no time to spare and rushed to the airport. Third Running Anniversary Run at Run United 2

Half Marathon, Full Fun: The Yamaha Run for Heroes Chronicles
At long last I was finally able to get back to regular racing, and staging this comeback was with the Yamaha Run for Heroes held last July 03, 2011 at Bonifacio Global City. it may “just” be a half-marathon, but it was a race of different caliber.
Makati Route #2
I guess I wasn’t that satisfied with my first Makati-based run so the following night I was again out on the streets and seeking a new route. This time around it’s a notch longer and ending on a different spot.
New Work, New Shoes, New Route
It felt like eternity since my last run with my GF, about 20 days to be exact. With all the hassles of changing work, turnovers, countless meetings, transferring to a new office location, settling down and getting oriented with my new job, and all the nitty gritties in between, I found it very difficult to…
GF Found “Dead”
It’s been so long since I last ran that I didn’t even realize that my GF405 had “died!” It was one of those moments that I never thought would happen as I always used my GF to run and always noticed that it’s running out of batteries. Now I only use my GF during races…
My GF’s Facelift
Even since I had some issues with my GF I found myself less and less interested spending my time with her, and now that I have my new BB, her most formidable rival, she has more reasons to be concerned about our “relationship.” As such, my GF had to undergo some major facelift.
