Lessons from the Bank Blunder

Saving your money in general is good, but the recent blunder by a major bank in the Philippines that affected thousands, including myself, rocked my confidence with the said institution, but left me with some lessons learned.

Like in the past years, the Lenten Season again brought me around the city of Manila to visit 14 churches.  I didn’t deviate much from my Visita Iglesia last year, but I did it this year on a Good Friday.

366 Miles on the 365th Day

On the 365th day of the year, I finally completed my 366th mile!  This may not sound a lot as it’s basically just a mile a day, every day, but considering that I did the last 96 miles (154.5 kilometers) of it on the last month (exceeding the goal by three miles), I’m very pleased! 😊…

A November to Remember

And just like that, we’re down to the last month of the year!  But before I get settled into this month, I’d like to savor one last time the memories of the November that passed.

November started pretty busy that I didn’t even notice that this special day had arrived, and passed.   But a bit late as it may be, I wouldn’t let this opportunity pass to thank everyone that had supported me and my blog all these years.

Ayala Triangle Gardens’ Festival of Lights is Back!

The Yuletide Season is officially on at the Makati Central Business District with the start of the Festival of Lights at the Ayala Triangle Gardens!  Like previous seasons, this year’s presentations involved about a million lights dancing to Christmas tunes with smoke and lasers to enhance the experience.  Here’s a glimpse of what to expect.
