Halloween. For the first time, I’m doing a Halloween race on a Halloween night itself. And for the first time, I’ve attended a Halloween race where practically everyone is in costume. It’s going to be a “thrilling” night.
Time flies when you’re having fun, and also when you’re quite busy. Being a one man team at work made me forgot all about the rest of the world and before I noticed it, it was just a week before it’s time for my first 32K of the year, Run United 2 (due this Sunday!).
I guess I wasn’t that satisfied with my first Makati-based run so the following night I was again out on the streets and seeking a new route. This time around it’s a notch longer and ending on a different spot.
As the calendar’s page turn from May to June, a huge chapter of my life closes as well. It’s one of the most memorable chapters of my life, more than three years in the making, and one that bore witness to my huge transformation—from a regular office folk to a sports and health enthusiast!
It’s raining races this November as its last two Sundays were filled with five races happening simultaneously within Metro Manila alone! Is that crazy or what?
