For the first time in years, I finally had the time to make some updates on this blog. I had a bit of encouragement from a software I was tinkering with and before you know it, I came up with a new logo.

The new logo was inspired by my favorite place to run—the beach. As I’ve not been running long nor consistently, running on the road can be challenging for my not-so-young-anymore body. But when it comes to the beach, I can do a 5K or so effortlessly. Thus, the background of the new logo.
As for the logo itself, I have always wanted to put a runner in it, but I don’t have enough technical and artistic skills to do it, and didn’t want to spend to hire an artist or pay for a licensed image. But now, with the help of AI, I was able to generate one—I think it captured what I had in mind and I think it represents me well (at least the younger, thinner version of me!). And I ran “running Pinoy” around the logo as an home to the ring that has been in the previous logo. I didn’t really know how to fill the space (and don’t know much about the software I’m using) so I repeated the name and added the year I started to reduce redundancy. And yes, the three stars around the logo are inspired by the Philippine flag. 🇵🇭
The new logo is already featured in the blog pages and social media sites, and I hope it works well in other places.
So, what do you think of the new logo?
Congrats on the new Logo. More articles please.
