Impromptu Baguio

When you suddenly have a long weekend ahead of you, what do you do?  Normally, I’d just catch some sleep but since the Labor Day weekend became unexpectedly longer, a quick getaway is in order.

Hotel Review: Galleria 12 Sukhumvit (Bangkok)

Another reason why I enjoyed our trip to Bangkok is because of our hotel.  With so many options to choose from, here’s why we picked Galleria 12 Sukhumvit as our home during our stay in the city.

Bangkok Diaries: Pad Thai and Airports

Pad Thai is my favorite Thai dish and I wanted to conclude our trip by having some of the best Pad Thai in Bangkok.  And I think we found it and that’s basically all we had time for on our last day in the city.

We didn’t have to go far from The Grand Palace to get to our next destination, Wat Pho or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.  It is just behind the complex and it is a must-see Bangkok attraction.

Bangkok Diaries: The Grand Palace

We were up early on our first full day in Bangkok to explore what the city has to offer.  Our itinerary included the top tourist spots but without any prior knowledge on the transport system and still having no local SIM for data, we have to navigate ourselves using our offline tools.  And here’s the start of our adventure!
