After a long time of hiatus from joining races, I finally got back. And it was Salomon XTrail Run that got me back on my feet for my first race of the year. I can’t say no when Salomon invited me, and I can’t miss the chance of running in one of my favorite places…
Exploring San Francisco in a day is not enough. And so the following day, I thought of coming back—via public transport! Here’s the story of my solo flight to SFO, mostly in pictures. This is part of a series ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ ⑥ ⑦
As a runner, I always make it a point to know a “new place” on foot. But as I got to know a piece of California better, I soon realized why everybody drives in here.
A few weeks ago, this little known place in Laguna called Cavinti held its first organized trail race. Until this race, I’ve never heard of this place. And after this race, Cavinti is a place I won’t soon forget.
Halloween. For the first time, I’m doing a Halloween race on a Halloween night itself. And for the first time, I’ve attended a Halloween race where practically everyone is in costume. It’s going to be a “thrilling” night.

When you least expect it, a race comes along that would just give you a weekend you won’t soon forget. Such is the case of AyalaLand’s EXPLORAC: an invitational trail run which was unexpectedly free! Here’s my long overdue story of my great weekend in Porac, Pampanga.
Before I noticed it, Run United 2 came, and while I survived, I can’t say I was quite prepared. Not only was it my longest race thus far, it was also one of my slowest race ever. Here’s my Run United 2 story.
Time flies when you’re having fun, and also when you’re quite busy. Being a one man team at work made me forgot all about the rest of the world and before I noticed it, it was just a week before it’s time for my first 32K of the year, Run United 2 (due this Sunday!).
I’ve always loved Saturday night races: there’s no risk of a sunburn and there’s absolutely no need to wake-up early! As such, I was really excited with my first night race of the year, Energizer Night Race Manila.
