Apple Chronicles: California-Bound

After spending the week, it’s time to move onto my next business destination, California.  This would be my first domestic flight in a foreign country in over eight years!  It’s a lot less glamorous though than my earlier flights as I went on economy class.

Time to say goodbye to my home for the past week, Hyatt Regency Houston.

Bay Area Chronicles: Way Back Home

It is always bittersweet whenever a trip draws to an end.  Most especially if you’re having a great time!  But going home doesn’t mean that the adventure is over!

Bay Area Chronicles: San Francisco Redux

Exploring San Francisco in a day is not enough.  And so the following day, I thought of coming back—via public transport!  Here’s the story of my solo flight to SFO, mostly in pictures.

Bay Area Chronicles: San Francisco Quickie

At long last, the time for me to explore San Francisco had arrived!  It was a challenge for me to go to San Francisco from Pleasant Hill as I don’t have a car, but heaven must be listening as a co-worker volunteered to give us a tour.

Bay Area Chronicles: The First Weekend

I’m back!  I think that was the first thing that popped into my head when I arrived in SFO International Airport.  I thought it would take me a while to figure how to get out and look for my chauffer, but before I knew it I was on the exit, and there he was.  At that point I was so tired that nothing much interested me but to get to my hotel and get some rest.  I was not even able to take a picture of my limo.

Bay Area Chronicles: The Trip to the Other Side of the World

As the New Year arrived I told myself that it was time to get things around.  One of the things I committed to myself was to get back into travelling which took a back seat these past few years.  But I never expected that I’d be going out of the country this early, and definitely not with a long haul!

My first intercontinental flight in years

10.10.10 Run Makes History

Congratulations to all the participants of the recently concluded 10.10.10 Run for Pasig River!  Apparently you’re all now part of history!  Initial figures from SyCip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. (SGV), the country’s biggest accounting firm, placed the total number of official race starters at 116,812, and that does not include unofficial (“bandit”) runners!  The SGV figure will break Philippine marks and the Guinness World Record of 110,000 runners at the “Bay to Breakers” race in San Francisco, California in 1988.
