One of the biggest adjustments I still am getting accustomed to is the temperature. I moved to a country that uses imperial measurements.  All my life, I’ve been accustomed to Celsius. Being in the tropics, the range isn’t that wide. Below 20°C is “cold” and anything beyond 30°C is “hot”.  Now that I’m in the world of Fahrenheit, the range widened to over 100s!

I had this idea of putting the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales on a table. I did this to help myself be guided to this range. Assigning a color every 10°F makes is a bit easier for my Celsius brain to comprehend.  I’m posting it here for reference:

  • 30s: Cold
  • 40s: Chilly
  • 50s: Cool
  • 60s: Nice ✅
  • 70s: Warm
  • 80s: Hot
  • 90s: Very hot
