This year’s installment of the Run United Trilogy had officially launched last January 23, 2016 at the Chocolate Kiss Café in University of the Philippines Diliman. It’s anything but the usual launch so I thought of giving some behind the scenes.

The University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman campus in Quezon City is what I consider to be one of the best places to run in Metro Manila—but I have not been here in ages so I decided to do a quick visit and see how much has changed.

In a media conference held last August 09, 2013, Santé Barley launched the Santé Barley Domination Run and also promoted the Santé-RUNNEX Running Clinic. The launch was headed by their CEO, Mr. Joey Marcelo, and their celebrity endorser Mr. Kim Atienza.
The Philippine Institute for the Deaf (PID), a non-profit school, will be celebrating their 25th year with a run for a cause entitled “Run for PID” at the University of the Philippines (Diliman) Academic Oval. Here are the event particulars:
I seldom do blog posts about event launches (since my intention is to focus on the event itself, not the launch) but every so often an event launch comes along worthy of one, and that “one” being the recent launch of this year’s second leg of Run United.
