Circuit Makati Quickie

Circuit Makati is probably the biggest development in the city of Makati and being pretty close to my office, I decided to drop by after work to see what’s in store.  Here’s my quick tour on foot.

Makati Route #2

I guess I wasn’t that satisfied with my first Makati-based run so the following night I was again out on the streets and seeking a new route.  This time around it’s a notch longer and ending on a different spot.

10.10.10 Run Makes History

Congratulations to all the participants of the recently concluded 10.10.10 Run for Pasig River!  Apparently you’re all now part of history!  Initial figures from SyCip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. (SGV), the country’s biggest accounting firm, placed the total number of official race starters at 116,812, and that does not include unofficial (“bandit”) runners!  The SGV figure will break Philippine marks and the Guinness World Record of 110,000 runners at the “Bay to Breakers” race in San Francisco, California in 1988.
