Apple Chronicles: Delayed in Detroit

After almost a week in California, I’m finally done with work and I can start my much-awaited vacation on the other side of the continent, New York!  It was a Thursday and we woke up to a wet and foggy day…

It was that time when the leaves were turning red and a bunch of other colors…

Apple Chronicles: Hello Again, San Francisco!

As I only have one free day in California, I decided to spend it in one of my favorite cities in the world: San Francisco.  It’s been more than three and a half years since I’ve last been here and I still have some unfinished business to settle.

Nice to see you again, Golden Gate Bridge!

Apple Chronicles: California-Bound

After spending the week, it’s time to move onto my next business destination, California.  This would be my first domestic flight in a foreign country in over eight years!  It’s a lot less glamorous though than my earlier flights as I went on economy class.

Time to say goodbye to my home for the past week, Hyatt Regency Houston.

Apple Chronicles: Space Center Houston

I can’t really say that my first six days in Houston were dull—in fact, it’s anything but as we got to try new things practically every day.  But visiting Space Center Houston trumped all the previous activities we did so far.

This sight will greet you upon arriving at Space Center Houston.

Apple Chronicles: Exploring Houston

I only have eight days in Houston and most of it is occupied by official business.  I also only have a weekend so I have to make the most out of my time and forget about jetlag.  And so, my adventure started the following morning.

Apple Chronicles: Houston, We’ve Arrived!

After seven hours of waiting, I’m finally on my way to North America!  Now comes the longest non-stop part of my trip: a 10 ½-hour flight over the Pacific Ocean and the Arctic!

When the lights were turned off, I was pleasantly surprised that our plane’s ceiling light up like stars in the sky… It’s actually much darker than this photo would suggest so it had much more impact.

Apple Chronicles: Taoyuan International and EVA Air Infinity Lounge

I arrived in Taipei with seven hours to spare.  Realistically, it’s too short to really do much in the city, but it’s ridiculously long to spend inside an airport!  Good thing that Taoyuan International Airport (桃園國際機場) is huge and should be able to keep me entertained.
