Next Stop: Macau

Time to escape the tropics for a while and experience some mild weather without going so far and so over budget—those were some of my considerations when I accepted my friends’ invites to join them to run in Macau.  Heat had always been my kryptonite when running and the opportunity to run with mild weather…

Costume Crisis

Halloween is almost here, one of the “newest” and most enjoyable western tradition assimilated with our own. For kids, it’s much ado about the “trick-or-treat”-ing, but for the kids at heart, it’s about the costumes and parties! It’s fun just thinking about it, but I have a problem–I don’t have a costume yet!

The First adidas King of the Road Southeast Asia Championship Recap

The first ever adidas King of the Road (KOTR) Southeast Asia Championship had just concluded in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and I’d say it’s the most “international” race I’ve experienced in the Philippines so far.  Here’s my recap on this outstanding race:

The Joy of Running in the Rain

This is probably the only way I can describe the video below, scenes from the 35th National MILO® Marathon Manila Eliminations.  I posted it here to motivate me (and hopefully, others) whenever rain pours on my (our) runs.  Too bad I missed the water therapy. 🙂

The Race That Didn’t Let Me Down: Rexona Run 2011

SM Mall of Asia was again host to another major running event, the Rexona Run 2011, which was one of the biggest races in the country lately.  Aside from serving as a preview to half of the following MILO Marathon route, the race was also a ticket to more adventures, and the debut of new…
