On the 365th day of the year, I finally completed my 366th mile! This may not sound a lot as it’s basically just a mile a day, every day, but considering that I did the last 96 miles (154.5 kilometers) of it on the last month (exceeding the goal by three miles), I’m very pleased! 😊…

Race Recap: Salomon X-Trail Run 2016
I had forgotten when I last ran the trails so when the opportunity to do so came, I quickly grabbed the opportunity. Knowing the past editions of Salomon X-Trail, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy—and it really wasn’t as we all figured out.

That’s A Wrap! My RUPM 2015 Story
Let me start this post by applauding everyone who completed the recent Run United Philippine Marathon! Congratulations! Here’s my look back on this event that brought me back to running a full marathon after more than three years of hiatus!
Run United 2 (2015): A Pacer’s Story
Another race. Another pacing duty. But for the first time, I’m a bit fazed. I was thinking that I may be biting off more than I can chew.
My Longest Race of the Year (So Far): National Geographic Run 2015
It took some time but finally, I was able to do my first half marathon for the year with the National Geographic (NatGeo) Run 2015. And it was anything but the typical half marathon race, at least for a Runrio one. Here’s my story.
The Old and the New at AmCham ScholaRUN
AmCham ScholaRUN was one of those rare events that came along that gave me the opportunity to be reunited with the folks that I started running with and at the same time encourage new ones to start running. It’s not a big, branded race but it was quite memorable for me.
Mission Accomplished: Run United 1 (2015) 60-Minute 10K Pacer Duty
I had just returned from a wonderful pacer duty as I write this post and I think I can still feel that “runner’s high.” Did not set any new personal best. Did not take home that enviable Run United 1 Finisher’s Medal. But I feel great! Here’s my story.
A Perfect 10 (Miles)
It’s the New Year and what better way to jumpstart the year than with a run? And what’s great is that I got to start it with Takbo.ph’s event, running the 10-mile leg. Here’s my story of this delightful race.
Rexona Run 2013: Ran to the Beat, Beat the Sun and Beat Myself
It was another sleepless race. A half marathon starting at 3AM. That’s got to be the earliest 21K I joined that I can remember. You’d have to sleep before sundown if you were to get a good sleep before the race.
