BGC Quickie

It was a weekend and I was about to meet some old time friends in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).  I was a few hours early and I have my trusty camera with me.  The sun was also setting so I thought of getting some quick shots around BGC to see what has changed.

Manila to MoA on Foot

It was one of those weekends when I got the urge to revisit some old routes that I’ve not been to for quite a while.  This time I thought of running along Manila Bay via Roxas Blvd. from Quiapo, Manila to the SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

A Quick Afternoon in UP Diliman

The University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman campus in Quezon City is what I consider to be one of the best places to run in Metro Manila—but I have not been here in ages so I decided to do a quick visit and see how much has changed.

Quick Bite: Kyo Chon

Ever since I’ve heard that one of Korea’s most popular fried chicken restaurant chain, Kyo Chon, had arrived in the Philippines, I’ve always wanted to try it and like any new foreign franchises arriving in the country, the queue is just long.  Fortunately, luck was on my side and I was able to avoid the…

Photo Walk Rizal Park

It had been quite a while since I’ve been to one of the most refreshing spots in Manila, Rizal Park.  Like a lot of places in the Metro, it too had lots of recent developments, and here’s how it looked like as of August 2014.

Food Trip: Ramen Nagi (ラーメン凪)

I love Japanese food!  From the colorful presentation to the various flavors and some “exotic” ingredients.  And one of my all-time favorite Japanese dishes is the ramen—and we’re so lucky to have found a relatively new spot specializing in one: Ramen Nagi (ラーメン凪).

Gear Review: Nokia Lumia 630

I’ve recently featured the Nokia Lumia 630 as a “fitness phone,” but how does it fare as a smart phone?  Here’s my more detailed review:

My 4DX Experience at the Bonifacio High Street Central Square

Watching movies on the big screen is probably the best way to see a movie and with intense competition between cinemas it is difficult for one to stand out.  One way of taking that movie experience a step higher is through “4D” which is “3D” with an extra “1D.”  So what is this additional “D”…

Together, 24/7? The Case of Wearable Fitness Trackers

Unless you do not have any slight care about gadgets, you must have stumbled to at least one of these wearable fitness trackers that flood the market.  After all, just about every manufacturer who can is making these.  But are they really nothing more than niche products, or do they really offer something we have…

Scenic Places For Running You Must Visit

Let’s admit it, running can sometimes be dreadfully boring!  But it doesn’t always have to, especially if you’re running on picturesque locations.  I believe that the best way to explore a place is on foot, and here are some of the most scenic places I’ve seen through running.
