The Halloween long weekend finally gave me some chance to have some much needed sleep.  I didn’t go out of town as many people may have done, but I dedicated a day to do some long easy run around Manila.

Highlights of 2013

2013 is one interesting but very challenging year for me.  I’ve had lots of ups and downs, but looking back I can’t say that I have any regrets.  And if I had to pick just 10 as highlights of my year, this list would be it.  In no particular order, they are:

Halloween.  For the first time, I’m doing a Halloween race on a Halloween night itself.  And for the first time, I’ve attended a Halloween race where practically everyone is in costume.  It’s going to be a “thrilling” night.

Costume Crisis

Halloween is almost here, one of the “newest” and most enjoyable western tradition assimilated with our own. For kids, it’s much ado about the “trick-or-treat”-ing, but for the kids at heart, it’s about the costumes and parties! It’s fun just thinking about it, but I have a problem–I don’t have a costume yet!

Adobo for Halloween

At long last, the fun of Halloween was brought back to runners with a Halloween night run, thanks to Adobo Run.  This would be my VFF Sprint’s first race, and one of the most fun!

Pumpkin Adobo?
