Pumpkin Adobo?

Could you imagine mixing pumpkin with adobo?  Something like that is cooking this October, and if you think it’s gross, you’re in for quite a surprise.

Since this is still a running-oriented site and not a cooking site (last time I checked) of course I’m talking figuratively.  So what do you really get when you put pumpkin and adobo together?  adobo Run!

adobo Run: After Dark is a run set on a Saturday night of this year’s Halloween weekend, which falls conveniently on October 30, 2010.  The run starts at 6PM at La Piazza, McKinley Hill.  If you’re one of the many clamoring for a night run, well it’s back.  Since it’s a Halloween run as well there would be a special category for those who will run in their costumes.  There’s also going to be an award for the biggest contingent.

The event singlet (much prettier in reality than in the picture) but feel free to come in your costumes 🙂

The race is made up of a 3K, 5K, and 10K route around the McKinley Hill area.  Registration fee is P600, but there’s a special group package of one free registration for every 10 paid registrants.
