Carbo-Loading with QCIM and Updates

Last night at the activity area of the Quezon Memorial Circle the carbo-loading party of the first Quezon City International Marathon was staged featuring special guest runners from Kenya.  With their presence the race surely would be at par with world-class standards and there may even be a possibility of breaking the Philippine marathon record of 2:14:27 set way back in 1982 by Waldemar Cierpinski during the first Metro Manila International Marathon.  Here are some of the scenes from last night:

The 42K and 21K pacers being presented on stage
The Kenyan runners
The food (some got pasta while some got rice)
Impromptu performer Running Diva as she dazed everyone from the stage

Pacers Update

To all QCIM pacers please be informed that there would be a final pacers’ briefing tomorrow before the race, 4AM at Max’s Restaurant inside QMC.

Good luck to all runners!  Run safe!
