Inspired by the tradition at Kona, home of the renowned Ironman World Championship, Century Tuna continued its own local fun tradition with the Superbods Underpants Run. Started as a pre-race activity for the Century Tuna Ironman 70.3 back in 2015, it has since made headlines as it brought some of the world’s super athletes racing alongside Superbods finalists. This year’s event also raised money for the Philippine Red Cross Olongapo Chapter.
[Press Release] MANILA, Philippines (March 12, 2017)—International pro triathletes Ruedi Wild and Radka Kahlefeldt bagged first place at the 2017 Century Tuna IRONMAN 70.3 at Subic Bay, Philippines, finishing at 3:48:24 and 4:22:13 respectively.
It’s the 66th day of the year and I just realized how far behind I am with my mile a day target. As of today, I barely managed 55 miles so I’m behind by 11 miles to date! Getting injured, work, etc.—a lot of things get in the way. Good thing that we still have more than enough days in the year to catch up, and I’m not that far behind.
