I was supposed to start the year with Cebu City Marathon, but it was just my luck that I wasn’t able to register in time.  But since my flight and accommodations are already set in place, I was still good to go!

It was quite disappointing that I was breaking my Cebu City Marathon habit for the past two consecutive years, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be since I didn’t had the time to prepare for a 42K run.  Of course I still want to make the most of my visit down south so might as well add to my itinerary one of the places I long miss: Bohol and Panglao.

We hardly had enough time to get from the airport to the pier, but as exciting as our trip to the pier was, it was the opposite getting to Bohol, even with a fast craft!  But the two hour sea travel (which was longer than our flight from Manila to Cebu), was totally worth it…
