On a personal level, 2022 was the worst years of my life as it was the year I lost my dear mother. Otherwise, it would’ve been my best year since the pandemic started.
While it’s not uncommon to find forgotten loose coins or bills in your pockets after washing them, I found a pair of unworn shoes still in their box!
For the first time since the pandemic started, I ran a race in person via Run Ortigas 2022! It’s been so long since my last event that it felt like my first time again!
And after a very, very long hiatus, I’m back to mark 14 years of this blog’s existence! I’ve been away for so long that I don’t know where to start writing! Nonetheless, I’m still glad that you’re still here. Thank you for the continued support!
For the first time in a long time, I wasn’t able to publish a single post in the month of April! But as my personal journal, it’s time to get this blog up to speed.
One of the changes that the pandemic brought was the makeover of bus routes in Metro Manila. Many routes were cancelled permanently and new routes were introduced, including the EDSA Carousel. I had the chance to try it recently and here’s my experience.
After a very, very long time, physical races are back in the Philippines! Interestingly, it’s the Ironman franchise that’s the first (that I know of) to take advantage of the improving situation by holding both the full and 70.3 events this coming March.
And just like that, January has passed. And it’s a new year, too, based on lunar calendars.
Just as when it looked like the worst was over, omicron arrived to spoil the party. Now we have to get booster shots!
