Shopping for Labels

It’s been a very long while since I last shopped for shoes.  My most recent two pairs were sponsored and won in a raffle, so I admit that I really do miss that feeling!  I guess it’s what some would call “shopping therapy.”

Picture of the Week

What would happen if one of your favorite shoe brand gives 24% discount on all their items, including their latest shoes? Madness. 😀

Goodbye Summer?

Talk about Mother Nature changing her mind so abruptly—from sweltering heat to flooded streets literally overnight!  Wasn’t it just a few days ago when most of us were complaining with the record highs for the year, and yet yesterday many got stranded with flash floods that swept some of the roads in the Metro?  Does…

Brooks Run Happy :)

For runners, running is all sorts of different things, and most likely making them happy is one of them.  And what would make runners, “happy runners?”  Joining a “happy” fun run of course!

Holey Moley!

Do you invest in your running attire?  Don’t you just love wearing tops that you explicitly bought for running and not that free one from an event you joined?  Now then, could you imagine putting holes in them?

Boston Kreme: When is a World’s Best not a World Record?

Boston, Massachusetts is thousands of miles away from Manila, but the running highs that were set during the recent Boston Marathon were so contagious I can feel it all the way here!  The highlight of the event of course was the 2:03:02 time set by Kenya’s Geoffrey Mutai—the world’s fastest ever, but not the world…

My GF’s Facelift

Even since I had some issues with my GF I found myself less and less interested spending my time with her, and now that I have my new BB, her most formidable rival, she has more reasons to be concerned about our “relationship.”  As such, my GF had to undergo some major facelift.

Good Bye, BGC?

Bonifacio Global City, Bonifacio High Street in particular, had been a runner’s haven for quite some time now, but as its empty lots and the areas around it slowly but surely gets filled up, is it an early sign of good bye?
