Best Nine of 2017

I can’t believe that we are now on the last few days of 2017!  As much as I’d like to say that this year flew by quickly, I also realized that a lot of things also happened that seemed like so long ago.  And there are nine experiences that made this year very memorable for me.

Hotel Review: City Center Hotel (Baguio, 2017)

We stayed at City Center Hotel for the latter half of our impromptu Baguio trip.  This isn’t my first time to stay here so it’s a good chance to see what’s changed since then.

Hotel Review: Casa Vallejo

One of the hotels we stayed in during our impromptu Baguio trip is Casa Vallejo.  This property dates back to 1909 so it has that “old world” charm that drew us to it.  Here’s my review of the oldest hotel in Baguio City.

Impromptu Baguio

When you suddenly have a long weekend ahead of you, what do you do?  Normally, I’d just catch some sleep but since the Labor Day weekend became unexpectedly longer, a quick getaway is in order.

TNF100 2016 Chronicles: Outtakes

My TNF100 2016 Chronicles would not be complete without the stories behind the scenes, before and after the race.  This is also where I got to look back at the event and note my observations and lessons learned.

Game Plan: TNF100 2016 (50K)

It’s been six years since I’ve last ran TNF100 which was then also held in Baguio.  I did the full 100K back then and now I’m doing 50K so this makes it the shortest TNF100 race I’ve joined! 😀  This being my first time to do the 50K leg, I thought of making a guide…

Food Trip: Canto (Baguio City)

Baguio City is known for great food joints and one of my favorite new discovery in the city is Canto located along C. Arellano Street.  Here are some of my reasons why:

Scenic Places For Running You Must Visit

Let’s admit it, running can sometimes be dreadfully boring!  But it doesn’t always have to, especially if you’re running on picturesque locations.  I believe that the best way to explore a place is on foot, and here are some of the most scenic places I’ve seen through running.

Highlights of 2013

2013 is one interesting but very challenging year for me.  I’ve had lots of ups and downs, but looking back I can’t say that I have any regrets.  And if I had to pick just 10 as highlights of my year, this list would be it.  In no particular order, they are:
