Last Saturday one of the most enjoyable fun run was held at the Bonifacio Global City: the Mommy Milkshake Marathon.  Well it’s not exactly a marathon since it only has 3K and 5K leg but as a race it was well organized, and it’s free!  This fun run exemplifies how a well organized race can be made and with good support from sponsors even a free race could be very good, fun, and they even gave away a very good set of goodie bags for everyone.  A lot of prizes were also given away so hands down this would be one of the most enjoyable and generous race not only for women and kids, but also for men.

Congratulations to the organizers for a great event!  We really had fun with this run and thank you for all the freebies!

Not Breastfed

Despite all the generosity the organizers gave the event participants (free race, sandwich and banana for snacks, and a pretty excellent goodie bag) some still wanted more and went beyond the moral and legal line—looting!  Some participants saw a particular man getting the bananas by the box when nobody was looking and even helped himself for more of the goodie bag from the sponsor.  The goodie bag’s content could be sold since each bag contained some pretty expensive stuff which proved to be too tempting for some.  This person was registered according to eye witnesses since he had a race bib and I don’t know if this incident was reported to the organizers.  It’s one thing if the organizers gave you all the stuff left over but it’s totally different if you get it without permission—it’s called stealing and it is prosecutable by law.  It’s sad but it happens and I do hope the perpetrator gets caught.
