Talk About Fitness: Sports Nutrition Talk 2014

A talk was recently held at the 100 Miles Café in Bonifacio Global City last November 27, 2014 for bloggers, members of the media, and fitness enthusiasts by takbo.ph and healthjunkie.ph.  Here are some of my key takeaways from this event dubbed, TAlKaBOut Fitness: Sports Nutrition and Hydration.

And Oh, I’m Six!

I’ve been pretty busy lately that I didn’t even make a fuss when this blog had its sixth anniversary!  Yes, runningpinoy has been online for six years!  So much had changed, and I’m thankful that I’m still here, and still able and willing to run.  Thank you everyone for all the support!

Food Trip: Tim Ho Wan

Sometimes the best things come when you least expect it, and indeed my first gastronomic journey to Tim Ho Wan was anything but expected!  For the longest time I had been dreaming of trying its Michelin star dim sum, and that dream was finally realized.  This is my first Michelin star restaurant encounter!

A Trip Down Memory Lane: A Tribute to Nokia

If you’re one of those old enough to have a mobile phone in the late 1990s and early 2000s, you’d know how prominent Nokia was as a brand.  And as we finally bid farewell to this once great brand, I thought of giving tribute by having a trip down memory lane.

Rexona Run 2014: The Race I Almost Never Had

Rexona Run is one of the races that I always look forward to every year and as far as I can remember, I’ve never missed one since it started.  I can’t describe how I felt when I thought I may not be able to complete one this year.

Quick Bite: Niu by Vikings

One of my highlights for this year’s Blogapalooza was having the opportunity to take a quick tour of one of the newest buffets in Manila, Niu by Vikings.  Here’s a glimpse of what to expect at Niu.

Walk Break: The Dela Rosa Murals

Going to work especially during rush hours can be quite stressful.  Fortunately for those who work within Ayala Center, walking to work is a bit more convenient because of the elevated walkway running mostly along Dela Rosa Street.  The Dela Rosa segment alone is around 700 meters long and portions of which are home to…

Downtime “Training”

It’s inevitable that every once in a while we experience “downtime.”  I’ve been using the pool practically every day lately to help improve my newly acquired swimming skills, and now my body is forcing me to rest.  Anyhow, this downtime gives me a different opportunity to “train.”

Food Trip: Wabi-Sabi

Wabi-Sabi is quiet little vegetarian restaurant tucked inside a relatively hidden area called The Collective.  I’ve known about Wabi-Sabi for quite some time now and recently I’ve become a frequent customer.  Here are three reasons why:
