Biag, Malolot Ruled Inaugural TRI-Factor Asian Championship Series (Philippines)

After the dust had settled, the champions of the inaugural TRI-Factor Asian Championship Series (Philippines) had risen with Billy Biag and Mark Malolot taking the long and standard distances crown, respectively.  Here’s a brief rundown of the event that transpired.

Bicol Express Chronicles: CamSur Watersports Complex (CWC)

Our second day in Bicol brought us back to the mainland, in the town of Pili, still in the province of Camarines Sur (CamSur).  It’s not my first time to be in CWC or this part of CamSur (my first time being the 2010 CamSur Marathon) but it would be my first time to do wakeboarding!

Bicol Express Chronicles: Caramoan

Caramoan is a first-class municipality located in the province of Camarines Sur.  It is located at the tip of a peninsula bearing the same name, and it is also the first stop of our Bicol Region adventure.  Off the coast are numerous islands, some of which has been the site of several editions of the reality show, Survivor.

Bicol Express Chronicles: Appetizer

May 01 is Labor Day in the Philippines.  It is quite fortunate that this year, it fell on a Friday so it was perfect for a getaway.  While many chose the beach because of the extreme summer heat, we chose to spice things up and visit the land of chilies, the Bicol Region.  And what an extremely fun weekend that was!  Here’s a glimpse of my awesome Labor Day weekend in Bicol.
